SEMINAR

INTRODUCTION

Islam views practicing medicine as a social obligation and not just as a profession. Muslim healthcare workers are expected to be the best caregivers as they are motivated to deliver their task to get the rewards from Allah swt and also as an ibadah (amal soleh). With the advancement of knowledge and technology, Alhamdulillah we have witnessed the vast and rapid progress in medical treatment and modalities. However many of us have neglected the spiritual component of the patients and not treat them in a holistic manner. Islamic Hospital Consortium of Malaysia (KHIM) will organizing this seminar as part of our efforts to educate ourselves towards achieving these tasks. May Allah swt grant us the hidayah and the needs to understand Islam as a way of life and become the best Ummah.
